Jean-Dominique Seta has left La Banque Postale Asset Management to join Amundi’s thematic subsidiary CPR in a thematic portfolio manager role, Citywire Selector has learned.
Seta had spent almost a decade with the group – known as LBPAM – before joining CPR AM at the start of November.
In his new role, Seta will work alongside Anne Leborgne on the Amundi Global Luxury & Lifestyle fund. He replaces Wesley Lebeau in that regard.
This appointment marks a change for Seta, who had primarily overseen US-focused funds during his tenure with LBPAM and when he worked as an alternative investor at Alternative & Derivative Investments.
Seta began his career in 1987 as a credit manager at Credit Agricole and has since held several fund manager posts at firms including Credit Lyonnais AM.
It is understood that the appointment of Seta coincides with further changes at CPR AM. This has seen Lebeau, who was transferred from Amundi to CPR in September of last year, step back from the Amundi Global Luxury & Lifestyle fund and the CPR Global Lifestyles fund.
Lebeau continues to oversee the CPR Invest – Global Disruptive Opportunities fund with Estelle Menard.
