Thames River to launch global high yield absolute return fund

Thames River Capital is launching a global high yield absolute return fund to capitalise on opportunities in the global bond markets, Citywire Wealth Manager reports.

The Thames River Global High Yield Bond fund will be managed by Stephen Drew (pictured) and Mehrdad Noorani, who will aim to return around 10% per annum with a target volatility around 10-12%.

The managers will target around 50 positions with a strong focus on bottom-up credit selection and liquidity, combined with a macro hedging strategy with the objective of protecting capital.
