Chahine Capital has expanded its Digital Stars range with a new US equities fund for its Citywire-rated investment team.
The Luxembourg-based boutique said the Digital Stars US Equities fund would hold around 100 stocks selected from an investment universe of 2,400 securities.
The fund is managed by Citywire A-rated Julien Bernier, Aymar de Léotoing and Citywire + rated Jacques Chahine, who founded the firm.
This new approach will have a bias to the technology sector and little exposure to financials and energy stocks. It follows a momentum strategy and targets diverse growth stocks.
The launch of this new fund follows on from last year's launch of the Europe Smaller Companies fund being unveiled and coincides with Chahine Capital's overall assets breaching €1 billion.
The new fund is domiciled in Luxembourg and is currently undergoing registration in other European countries.
