Lombard Odier Investment Managers' absolute return bond team is leaving the Geneva asset management firm, Citywire Selector's sister site Citywire Switzerland can reveal.
Among these is the flagship LO Funds – Absolute Return Bond fund, which the trio has run since it joined the firm.
The fund has lost 6.1% in Swiss francs over three years, this compares to the average manager in bonds absolute return’s loss of 1.53% over the same time frame.
The new team to taking over includes Aurèle Storno, Sui Kai Wong and Thierry Bechu, who will assume the role of managers on the funds.
A spokesperson at Lombard Odier IM said: ‘We would like to thank the team for their contribution that has seen this strategy help our institutional clients navigate the rapidly evolving market environment over the last six years.
‘The fund has transitioned to the multi-asset team to continue targeting the core objectives of the absolute return bond strategy which aims to deliver positive returns and capital preservation with a lower risk profile than traditional fixed income.’
