Kames Capital has bolstered its fixed income team with the appointment of derivative specialist Nick Chatters, the Scottish company confirmed on Monday.
As part of his new role, Chatters will be responsible for constructing and implementing derivative transactions for key clients, both money market and credit related.
He joins Kames from Citibank, where he was an assistant vice president in its Complex Pricing Group, with responsibility for the development of derivative valuations.
Prior to joining Citi, Chatters also held positions at Capco, GFI Group and Bayern LB.
Commenting on the hire, Kames head of fixed income David Roberts said: ‘Nick has a wealth of experience in constructing and implementing derivatives transaction as well as trading them.'
