JP Morgan Asset Management has assigned Citywire + rated Jeffrey Roskell to the portfolio management team overseeing its dividend-focused emerging market fund, Citywire Selector has learned.
The move comes in the wake of Titherington moving to Hong Kong, which took place in August 2015, as a means to unite the asset manager’s emerging markets and Pacific regional groups under his leadership.
A spokesperson for the asset manager confirmed there would be no changes to the investment process and said the managers will continue to focus on identifying the best combination of income plus growth across emerging markets.
The JPM Emerging Markets Dividend A Acc USD fund lost 5.9% in US dollar terms over the three years to the end of July 2016. This compares to a rise of 0.2% by its Citywire-assigned benchmark, the MSCI EM (Emerging Markets) TR USD, over the same timeframe.
