Janus Henderson has appointed Kristi Guay to manage a US equity fund to replace Michelle Picard, Citywire Selector’s sister site Citywire USA has learned.

Citywire A-rated Picard was taken off the Janus Henderson US Growth Opportunities fund aimed at US-based investors in February. She initially went on leave before deciding to leave the firm.

A spokesperson for Janus Henderson confirmed that Guay also replaces Picard on the Henderson HF US Growth fund, which is aimed at European investors. Guay joins Citywire A-rated William Scott Priebe and Derek Pawlak, who also manages the fund.

This appointment follows the news that US equity manager Dan Kozlowski will leave Janus Henderson to return to a hedge fund company he set up.
