Invesco has launched a convertible bonds fund to further bolster its fixed income range, the company has confirmed.
The Invesco Global Convertible fund will be managed by Citywire AA-rated Lyndon Man (pictured below), who currently runs several funds including the Invesco Euro Short Term bond fund and A-rated Robert Young, who currently manages the firm’s Short Duration Inflation Protected fund.
According to the fund’s KIID (key investor information document), the strategy will aim to give investors exposure to convertible assets issued worldwide.
This will include contingent and synthetic convertibles, which will combine debt instruments and derivatives to create the same characteristics as a typical convertible.
The new fund is domiciled within the company’s Luxembourg Sicav and is available in a wide range of share classes.
The fund is managed by Invesco Advisers Inc and supported by Invesco Asset Limited and Invesco Asset Management Deutschland GmbH.
