Investors are overly focused on losing their jobs to AI despite the only successful combination will be humans harnessing and guiding these developments.
That's according to Thomas Anglero, director of innovation at IBM Norway, made the comments during the keynote address at Citywire Global New Ideas 2018 in Amsterdam.
He said algorithms are like children as they process a lot of information but still require guidance, which in financial world is the role investors play for future development.
'Today software is able to look at the whole company and will be able to predict what it is going to do tomorrow. That combined with your knowledge and your gut feeling is really powerful.'
Also in this video the innovator talks about the millennial generation and how its synergies combined with those of senior management lead to ‘mind boggling’ results.
