BNP Paribas Investment Partners (BNPP IP) has now officially announced the launch of FundQuest Advisors following a restructuring of the French firm's dedicated multi-management arm FundQuest.
First reported exclusively by Citywire Global back in September, the latest announcement reveals further details over who will be running the newly created advisory services group and its structure
The French firm has named Stéphane Pouchoulin (pictured) as CEO of the new entity and said its services will be based in France, the UK and Singapore. Pouchoulin was delegated director of FundQuest since 2010, having joined the firm in 2009 as head of strategic development.
With the launch of the advisory group the previous CEO of FundQuest, Charlotte Dennery, has been named chairman of FundQuest Advisors alongside her current role of chief operating officer of BNPP IP, a spokesperson from the French firm confirmed to Citywire Global.
The portfolios that were managed previously by FundQuest have been transferred to the Global Balanced Solutions team, BNPP IP’s expert in multi-asset solutions.
The multi-management capabilities complement Global Balanced Solutions’ existing capabilities, the firm's statement said, while continuing to leverage on FundQuest Advisor’s selection capabilities.
These developments reinforce BNPP IP’s global multi-asset capabilities which represent nearly €50 billion of assets under management.
The new entity will have a team of 28 professionals and will cover more than 30 asset classes and 400 selected funds.
Charlotte Dennery, COO of BNP Paribas Investment Partners said: 'Our continued commitment to delivering best-in-class investment strategies and services for our clients has led to the creation of FundQuest Advisor.'
'Therefore, we leverage the international and long-established brand recognition of FundQuest in the advisory services field.'
