La Française Group has hired former Citywire AAA-rated manager Nina Lagron to serve as a senior portfolio manager within its global equity team, Citywire Selector understands.
She spent two years with the independent asset manager, having joined from Amundi where she oversaw emerging Europe and MENA equity funds during a seven-year spell.
It is understood that in new position at La Française Group Lagron will work within the broader global equity markets team. However, no further details were available at the time of publication.
Meanwhile, Gemway is understood to be in the process of hiring a replacement for Lagron to sit alongside Vanier and co-manager Elena Kosheleva on the fund. The new hire is set to be an external appointment.
