Anaxis Investment Management has hired Maximilien Védie from Société Générale Bank & Trust to bolster its high yield bond capabilities, Citywire Selector has learned.

Védie brings with him seven years of investment experience, having started in Société Générale Bank & Trust’s investment advisory team in June 2010.

Over the course of his career, Védie has progressed from this role to an investment advisory post, which he held until September 2012 when he became a fixed income portfolio manager.

In his new role with the Paris-based asset manager, Védie will work alongside Thibault Destrés and Citywire + rated Pierre Giai-Levra on the Anaxis Short Duration and Anaxis Income Advantage funds.

This is as well as assuming a role on the Anaxis Bond Opportunity EM 2020, US Bond Opp 2021 and the European Bond Opp 2022 funds. It is understood that Védie formally joined the company on 5 December 2017.
