The former head of diversified multi-management at Edmond de Rothschild has joined French boutique firm Mansartis, the company has announced.
Jacques Tebeka will join the Paris-based firm as head of asset management. He will be responsible for the team and the investment strategy at the company.
Tebeka joins the firm from Markus AM, an independent asset manager which he co-founded in 2013 with Guy Boukris.
Tebeka worked at Edmond de Rothschild for almost five years and was in charge of a number of multi-manager funds at the firm.
He joined the firm from Oddo & Cie in September 2008. Tebeka worked for the firm as a market economist and was head of asset allocation and multi-management from 2001-2008.
The appointment of Tebeka follows a busy period for Mansartis, which saw Sébastien Lemonnier leave earlier this year. He managed a European equity fund aimed at France-based investors.
