Athymis Gestion has hired a head of equities and plans to launch a new fund for this most recent appointment, the Paris-based investment company has announced.
Arnaud Chesnay will work alongside Hicham El Aissaoui and Sébastien Peltier on the recently-launched Athymis Millennial fund.
This targets companies which will benefit from millennial money, a sector of society that is set to overtake baby boomers as the largest generation.
In addition, Chesnay will be in charge of the forthcoming Athymis Millennial Europe fund, which is set to focus on the same investment theme but focused solely on Europe.
Chesnay has over 25 years of experience in the industry. He joins the firm from CM-CIC Gestion where he was in charge of institutional funds and mandates. Prior to this he worked for Barclays Wealth and Investment Management.
Commenting on the new hire, Stéphane Toullieux, president of Athymis Gestion, said: ‘Athymis Gestion has just launched the innovative global fund Athymis Millennial and wishes to deploy this new expertise in European equities.'
'We welcome Arnaud Chesnay, a seasoned expert, in a move in line with our main goal: to bring innovation and excellence to our client.’
