Multi-asset and multi-manager specialist Luca dal Mas has left Barings after a decade with the asset management company, Citywire Selector has learned.
During his tenure, Dal Mas was a named manager on the Baring Dynamic Emerging Market fund, as well as the Cayman-domiciled Hedge Select strategy.
He was also involved in fund selection across active and passive strategies, as well as overseeing technical analysis on liquid asset classes.
The Barings multi-asset/multi-management team has undergone several high-profile changes in recent years, with Percival Stanion leading a three-man defection to Pictet at the end of 2014.
This led assets to leave the firm’s flagship Dynamic Asset Allocation fund, with chief investment officer Marino Valensise stepping into serve as lead manager.
