La Banque Postale Asset Management has named Alexandre Caminade as its new head of fixed income and credit with Iain Bremner moving to oversee research efforts, Citywire Selector can reveal.
Bremner, who has been with the Paris-based group since February 2002, was handed responsibility for the credit and bonds unit in May 2016.
He will now oversee the research teams covering macro, credit, equity, SRI and quantitative investing, which were regrouped on January 1.
Replacing him in his capacity as head of fixed income will be Caminade, who joined in the summer of 2017 from Allianz Global Investors’ French unit. He initially joined as chief investment officer for credit.
It is understood Caminade assumed the role at the start of January. La Banque Postale Asset Management was approached for a comment regarding the changes but had not responded at the time of publication.
The French firm bolstered its fixed income operations in September of last year with the hire of Brice Perin from Generali Investments. This coincided with Caminade formally joining the group, as well as several equity fund manager and business-related hires.
