JPM Asset Management is changing the managers on three of its Asia Pacific equity funds, Citywire Selector can reveal.
A spokesperson for the asset manager confirmed that the changes to funds will be effective from 29 September. There will be no changes to the investment process.
She has worked closely with the managers as a product analyst and is involved in portfolio construction discussions. JPM AM has named her on the fund to formalise her role and reflect her increased responsibilities in the daily running of the fund.
The asset manager also confirmed it is realigning responsibilities within its Greater China team. Rebecca Jiang has been appointed to the JPM China A-Share Opportunities fund.
Jiang is a named manager on several funds at JPM AM and will join Citywire + rated Howard Wang on the fund.
Dong Xu will relinquish his role on the fund, but will remain at the asset manager and focus on developing JPM AM’s onshore China business.
