The head of cross asset strategy for Commerzbank has quit the German banking giant, Citywire Selector has learned.
Bernd Meyer, who joined the group from Deutsche Bank in 2010, had served as a managing director and overseen cross-asset strategy for the banking group over the past seven years.
In his previous role at Deutsche Bank, Meyer was responsible for pan-European equity strategy. As head of the unit, he had determined themes, positioning and portfolio construction.
A source familiar with the matter said Meyer would remain in Frankfurt and join a multi-asset investment specialist in a buy-side capacity.
Commerzbank said it would not comment on individual personnel changes.
