Amundi has announced senior changes within its equities team following the departure of Romain Boscher to rival group Fidelity International, Citywire Selector can reveal.
Among the changes, the French asset manager has appointed Alexandre Drabowicz as its new deputy head of equities.
He assumed the role on 9 February 2018 at the time when Boscher, who was co-head of equities at the group, joined Fidelity International as CIO for equities.
Franzin has 20 years of investment experience and currently runs three European equity strategies at the recently-merged group. He was first named co-head of equities last June.
Franzin's current deputy Drabowicz is based in Paris and focuses on the management and coordination of portfolio management activities. Prior to his new role he has been head of investment specialists on equities since 2014.
Drabowicz joined Amundi in 2008 as investment specialist covering volatility, overlay and convertible bonds strategies. Earlier he also worked at hedge fund Systeia Capital Management and in the brokerage division at Société Générale.
