Equity veteran Patrick Huber has quit Mirabaud Asset Management to join independent investment firm Santro Invest.

Huber, who had run two Swiss equity funds at Geneva-based Mirabaud, will formally join the Pfäffikon-based boutique on 1 May 2017.

Upon joining the firm, Huber will take over the Swiss Opportunity fund, which is Santro Invest’s flagship fund. He replaces Citywire AA-rated Roger Höhener, who moves to a board position.

Johannes Borner will continue as a deputy manager on the fund, as well as serving as CIO of Santro Invest.

Meanwhile, at Mirabaud, the two funds previously overseen by Huber will be retained by his former co-managers, Citywire A-rated Paul Schibli and Nicolas Bürki.
