Eight fund managers have been announced for the upcoming Citywire Paris event that will take place on Wednesday November 26 at the Shangri-La Hotel.
Over the course of one day, fund selectors based in France will have the opportunity to meet with top fund managers across several asset classes including emerging market debt, global and European equities as well as absolute return.
Timothée Malphettes will present the Delubac Pricing Power, a long-only European equity fund whose investment strategy is based upon the concept of selecting exclusive companies with a sustainable pricing power.
In the equity space as well, GAM will introduce North of South Capital LLP, a global emerging market equity specialist fund manager. Citywire AAA-rated Matt Linsey, the lead portfolio manager, will present the GAM Star North of South EM Equity fund.
First State Investments will be represented by Helene Williamson, the Citywire + rated fund manager of First State Emerging Markets Bond A Acc Hedged & First State Emerging Markets Bond I. Williamson will address how politics are impacting the industry and how some countries are benefiting from a macro-economic environment.
Talking about how to deliver consistent and positive returns across all market conditions, Chris Nichols of Ignis Asset Management will introduce the Global Absolute Return Strategies Fund (GARS).
Backed by Natixis Global Asset Management, the London-based boutique H2O AM will introduce the H2O MultiEquities fund. Citywire AA-rated portfolio manager Gonzague Legoff will explain how they combine global equities with currencies in their investment strategy.
Ahmed Talhaoui from BlackRock will discuss ‘Rethinking Fixed income’ while presenting the BlackRock BGF Fixed Income Global Opportunities fund.
Head of quantitative research at Eurizon Capital and portfolio manager of Eurizon Easyfund Strategia Flessibile, Corrado Gaudenzi will address ‘generating equity-lie return with higher sharpe ratio and lower volatility’.
Abdallah Guezour, who is head of emerging market debt absolute return for Schroders, will be introducing one of Schroder’s emerging market debt fund.
