US group Muzinich & Co has hired emerging market debt manager Warren Hyland as it looks to strengthen its capabilities in this sector.
Hyland joins the New York-headquartered firm from Schroders where he had been working since 2001. He previously worked alongside Wesley Sparks and Luke Chua on the Schroders ISF Global High Income Bond fund.
In his new role as emerging market corporate debt manager at Muzinich, Hyland will be based in its London office and tasked with broadening the firm's capabilities in the sector.
Commenting on the hire, George Muzinich, founder of Muzinich & Co., said: 'Emerging market debt is an increasingly important part of corporate credit. While we already have capability in this area, Warren’s appointment allows us to develop it further.'
