Formerly Citywire AAA-rated Audrey Bacrot has left Independance et Expansion to take up a fund manager role at rival group Amiral Gestion, Citywire Selector understands.
Bacrot, who has nearly a decade of fund management experience, joined Amiral Gestion at the end of May but it was not revealed which funds, if any, she will be named as a manager on.
Bacrot was highlighted as one of the best-performing female fund managers in the Citywire database as part of our in-depth investigation into the role of women in fund management.
In the Alpha Female report, which was published in May 2016, Bacrot was singled out as the best-performing female fund manager on a Luxembourg-domiciled fund for her risk-adjusted returns.
Independence et Expansion is a subsidiary of Evalfi, which is a research and investment company and an in-direct owner of the asset manager.
