About Michael Keppler

Michael Keppler was born in Ingolstadt, Germany in 1949 and attended the University of Regensburg where he was awarded an MBA in 1979. Before Michael moved to New York he worked in Frankfurt as an analyst covering natural resources. In 1983 he was sent by his employer Commerzbank to the US to train with some of Wall Street’s leading investment banks and he went on to head up the global investment strategy and portfolio management departments at Commerzbank Capital Markets in New York. He started his own investment management firm in 1992. Amongst others, he manages the Global Advantage Funds- Major Markets High Value and the Global Advantage Funds- Emerging Markets High Value where he invests by value-based market selection and complementary stock selection. Outside of fund management, Michael enjoys music as a way of relaxing.
