About Jürgen Hackenberg

Jürgen Hackenberg was born in Gernsbach in the Black Forest in 1965. He graduated from Karlsruhe University where he studied business and industrial engineering and is a certified bank clerk. Jürgen started his career with Deutsche Bank in 1993 where he worked as a equity research analyst. In 1999 he joined ABN Amro Bank Deutschland where he was the head of research before re-joining Deutsche Bank in 2001 as an equity research analyst. Jürgen joined UBS Deutschland in 2004 and in 2006 he joined Union Investment where he is currently a senior portfolio manager in equities. He has been managing funds for over 16 years. Outside of fund management he enjoys golf, tennis and soccer.
