About Anas Chakra

Born in Syria, Anas Chakra took a degree in econometrics from the University of Paris and ultimately went on to earn a masters in statistics from the University of Pennsylvania. He has held diverse roles throughout his career, including working as a financial analyst at the Al Saudi Banque as well as a senior sales representative role for IBM, with both positions situated in France. He joined Fidelity in 1995 as an investment analyst and was promoted to portfolio manager five years later. Chakra runs several segregated institutional funds domiciled in the UK. He also takes charge of the Fidelity Moneybuilder Growth unit trust for which he favours companies with solid cash generation abilities and healthy finances. When away from the office Chakra enjoys reading and travelling.
