Victoria Mio hails from the town of Zhongshan in China. Born in the early seventies, she studied at both the University of Macau, and the University of Pennsylvania, USA. She started her career at JP Morgan Chase in 1998 before working at Asterion Capital and then DG Fastchannel. In 2006 she joined Robeco where she is currently a senior portfolio manager specialising in Chinese equities. She is a member of the CFA, the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants) and FRM (Financial Risk Managers). Outside of work Victoria lists her hobbies as music, cooking and the cinema and theatre.


The Sub-fund will take exposure of at least two-thirds of its total assets to equity of companies whose securities are listed on PRC stock exchanges, primarily via China A-shares and China Bshares. Robeco Chinese A-share Equities has a focused, concentrated portfolio with a small number of larger bets. The portfolio of the Sub-fund is constructed via a bottom-up and valuation oriented stock selection.
