David Azcona Armiño is a portfolio manager at Morabanc where he joined in 2015. Prior to joining Morabanc, he was CIO and portfolio manager at Caja España Fondos. He started working in the company risk department at BSCH in 1999. He then moved to AFI and worked in the banking analysis department a year later. In 2001 David joined Caja España Fondos as a fund manager where he began his investment management career. He is a CFA Charterholder and studied economics at the Universidad Pública de Navarra. Away from the office, he enjoys soccer, skiing and the cinema and theatre.

Tomás García-Purriños García

Tomás García-Purriños is a multi asset portfolio manager with over 10 years experience in the financial sector. Among his strengths are FX and commodities, economic analysis, asset allocation, and equity research with a global macro approach. Tomás is Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder, Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and holds a Master´s degree in Financial Markets from the IEB. Tomás also teaches in several universities and business schools.

Aleksandra Tomala

Aleksandra Tomala is head of multi asset management at Morabanc AM. She has over ten years of experience as a portfolio manager and analyst, with a particular focus on asset allocation, market strategy and equities. Aleksandra is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and holds a master's degree in Finance and Banking from the Warsaw School of Economics.


The Mora Multistrategy aims to generate the best possible returns from currency pairs trading. Decisions are taken based on a combination of fundamental and technical views and also the risk involved. While the fund has a volatility limit of 5%, our initial aim is to keep this below 3%. Investments are made via listed derivatives and bonds with an average rating of at least Investment Grade.
