Johan Ståhl was born in Stockholm in the early 1960s. He studied economics and business administration at the University of Stockholm. He started his fund management career in 1994 working as a researcher and went on to become the head of small cap research at Carnegie. In 2002 he became the manager of Carnegie Smabolag Fund before leaving to join Lannebo in 2007, where he now runs the Lannebo Smabolag Fund. Outside of fund management Johan likes to unwind by playing a number of sports including golf and football.

Objective

The fund is an actively managed equity fund that invests in small and medium-sized listed companies in the Nordic region with a focus on Sweden. The Fund invests in companies that have a market value lower than or equal to 1 percent of the Swedish stock market's total market capitalization.
